ytd, went to the festival of praise with ben and jo.
jolene was also supposed to come but was still sick so she couldn't :(
anyway, i was supposed to meet the couple 3pm at plaza sing but as sth cropped at hm, i only showed them my face at 4.15pm.
sorry for making u guys wait SOO long!
walked ard plaza sing until 5pm, wanting to get a pressie but in the end,
jo was the one who got sth instead.
btw, ben and jo were really funny the whole day.
bet they didn't think so but a 3rd party sees things from another angle. HAHA
went to the bus stop after that and waited for bus 16 but as it was too crowded, we couldn't get on.
we had to wait for the next bus.
the nx bus was also packed but luckily we managed to get a place inside.
when we reached the outside of the indoor stadium at bout 5.3opm,
the queue seemed rather long but after queueing for a few mins and then turned back,
the queue had already doubled itself.
the gates of the indoor stadium would only open at 6.30pm so we had an hr to wait.
finally, the queue started moving.
realised that my ex-colleague was also there.
we had to have our bags checked and food and bottles were not allowed into the stadium so i had to surrender my bottle but i managed to sneak my sandwich in. hehe
when we got in, we had some difficulty finding seats as most of them were already reserved.
the only choice left was to go up the the balcony as it was still rather empty.
we had to reserve 12 seats for all of the people coming, ben's friends.
the FOP started at 7.30pm.
the view from OUR balcony was quite good.
though we were far for the stage, we had a whole view of the whole thing.
it started with a famous singer DON MOEN
followed by a band named DELiRIOUS?.
they were super good and we were singing/shouting our hearts our for God :D
their songs were really meaningful and the atmosphere great too!
after that came the preaching session.
there was this famous pastor, forgot his name.
he was really funny but at the same time, he managed to bring his message forth to the people.
we were renewed in our faith in God that day :)
the FOP continued with more songs by don moen and delirious?
and ended with a closing prayer.
we left before the closing prayer at 10.45pm hoping to miss the 10,000 crowd.
the bus stop was crowded enough when we reached the bus stop and
we missed 5shuttle busses as we were too slow to get in.
It was a great experience to be there ytd and i thank God for leading me there, at the correct time and the correct place.
(i almost backed out last min)
the shuttle bus brought us to kallang mrt where i parted with the couple and met up with dear.
he went out with his friends and was waiting to go home with me as it was rather late.
reached my hse market at 12.10am where we went to have our dinner cum supper.
we had mee goreng, mutton soup, char kuay tiao, 2 green teas and 2 teh tariks.
seems alot right. haha.
reached home at 01.10am
