went to esplanade after sch to watch the fireworks!
thought of grabbing a bite b4 popping out at 9pm to catch the fireworks
but when we walked of marinaS,
the streets, stairs,roads were covered with people!
it was only 8.15pm at that time.
singaporeans really kiasu ar.
also need to come so early to watch the fireworks.
we were unable to find seats at makansultra so we just went with the flow
and sat down outside the esplanade to wait for the fireworks.
while waiting for the fireworks,
more and more people were coming and thus we got super squished.
there was a ang moh couple sitting infront of us.
it was about 8.25pm when they asked us what time was the fireworks gonna start.
we told then at 9pm.
the guy went "WTH!"
i think the guy might have been thinking that singaporeans are really kiasu. haha
the couple left after that.
doubt they had the patience to wait until 9pm.
while waiting, a camara stand fell and hit me -.-
it actually hit a guy beside me 1st and then bounced off him to hit me.
the guy looked super angry,
like he wanna wack-up the camera man who dropped the stand.
the thing is the camera man didn't even apologise.
finally about 9.10pm, the fireworks started.
it was beautiful.
the fireworks included the normal ones + planets + hearts + those that move towards you.
i went woah, woah, WOAH!
like a little kid but it was really wonderful
and we can only see it a few times a year, unlike other countries.
the fireworks lasted for about 25mins.
i only managed to take 1 nice photo of the fireworks.
as he told me that we don't have to take pics of the fireworks
as long as its beauty remains in our heart :)
went for dinner at makansultra.
we had stingray, kangkong and sotong ($25)
yummy food.
there was a little concert beside the food court and the singers were really good.
we thought that they were playing CDs but realised that people were singing the songs.
the singers sounded 100% like the original singers of those songs.
justine timberlake, christina, Rihanna etc.
sat 18/8
went to youth meeting.
we watched a show 'facing the giants'.
the show was good and has many learning points if we were to ponder over it.
sun 19/8, today
went to church.
didn't feel like going again but i knew i had to go as it was the right thing to do.
we can't always do things according to our feelings
but do things according to what God wants us to do.
glad that i made the correct decision in going.
went to clementi central for dinner as daddy wanted to go home early.
he's always tired nowdays.
dun even wanna bring mummy and i out to shopping liao. sniffsniff :(
so he went home after dinner and mummy and i went to walk ard central.
i bought a pair of black pumps, $10 only!
i actually wanted to get brown as i already have black
but i still think black looks nicer. hehe
i still wanna buy my 1inch heels, 17mag, little miss tees and white shorts ^^
p.s my blog is not for parents to read!!! =P
